Obey

Frank Shepard Fairey (Obey), an American graphic designer, is educated from Idyllwid Arts Acedemy and thereafter from Rhode Island School of Design. Mostly he is known as a "street artist" and the wider publicity discovered him when he in 2008 made the famous Barack Obama "Hope" poster. Shepard Fairey was first known in the underground when he in 1989 ran a poster and sticker campaign in greater American cities known as "Andre the Giant has a Posse". Later on this project developed to OBEY Giant. Shepard Fairey choose as an artist different kinds of platform to spread out his messages and one of them are OBEY Clothing. It all started with prints on tee shirts, which later on has developed to an actually clothing brand.
